The Johnnie basketball season officially came to an end on Monday.
They were coming off a wild MIAC championship game where a win would have secured them a bid to the NCAA Division III national tournament but received the news on Monday that, despite their tournament run, they were not selected for the at-large bid either. (more…)

The Minnesota Street Market is celebrating its fifth anniversary as St. Joseph’s local food and art co-op.
The co-op opened in 2012 after the closure of a local grocery store that had been family-owned for over 100 years. The grocery store, Loso’s, was named after an original settler of St. Joseph, Peter Loso. His son, Martin Loso, opened the store in 1899. (more…)

It plays like a movie—you are there but you can’t interact with the people and you can’t control what happens. What would you do about it?
